GIANCARLO CERAUDO Born in Rome in 1969. He starts to photograph to link his anthropology studies and his passion for travelling. He works for italian and foreign magazines such as D La Repubblica delle Donne, Internazionale, El Pais, National Geographic and L'Espresso. His main production is concentrated on South America: he concentrates on the breakdown of Argentina, the crises of 2001 and the political and social changes of the last years in Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil and Bolivia. In 2004 he publishes Frontiera Sud edited by Fandango on the border between Morocco and Spain; in the same year the band Aires Tango produces a compilation inspired by his pictures. In 2006, he takes part to the photo book "Made in Italy": a reportage on the Italian economic crisis published by Trolley. His photos are in Maxxi's( museum of modern art of roma) permanent collection. Is represented by NOOR . Currently based in Buenos Aires
